Skating

Anya had great fun last weekend going skating for the first time with Daddy. We got her adjustable size skates, which range from 8-11, so we probably will get a lot more use out of them, especially with Dhara and Elora's unpredictable feet sizes. It was going to be $40 for a pair of used skates, which I think is just ridiculous. These were $50. Ouch. Hopefully they'll last a while. A lot of the hour or so they were actually on the ice was spent getting up, apparently, but Anya had fun. Daddy was a little sore though. I think they went around the rink twice. Tomorrow is my turn to take her skating. I'm scared. Break out the ibuprofen! I'll see if I can get a picture... (yeah, right, who am I kidding. I'll be too busy attempting to stay upright.)
