Progress Report

Anya:
-Is using the toilet all the time now, and waking up with dry pullups! Huzzah!
-Is learning about growing seeds. She loves all the new plants that are sprouting. We have a baby pine tree, peas, and cosmos flowers in containers around all the house.
-Can do up buttons and zippers
-Can play nicely with her sisters when she wants to, but can be a hazard to their health at other times :)
-Doesn't run away in the grocery store
-Steals the diaper cream/scissors/mail/chapstick/whatever she can find that she knows she's not supposed to have and hides it behind the couch

Dhara:
-Can go up stairs now
-Likes standing in the bookcase
-Likes crawling into the play oven
-Cannot get out of the play oven
-Likes to lick the window, fridge, heating grates
-Bonks the floor with her head when she's mad
-Is getting more and more chatty
-Is a wonderful climber
-Loves the baby swings at the park

Elora:
-Started stacking blocks today. She thought it was hilarious and was laughing like nuts, which was really funny.
-Can go up stairs now
-Is very possessive and has wicked temper tantrums
-Constantly wants what Dhara has
-Is pretty chatty
-Is a competitive climber (she sees Dhara climbing and must do it too)
-Loves the baby swings at the park
-Acts very weird at mealtimes - cries when she sees me coming with a spoonful of food towards her mouth, turns away, waves her arms around, and pushes me away, until she gets a taste of the food (by sheer dextrous manoeuvering of the spoon and/or me scraping a little bit of food onto her teeth or lips) and then settles in to eat with a smile

Carol:
-Is slightly worried about Dhara's head bonking behaviour
-Went to Elliot Lake last weekend for a girls' night out with Chantelle and crew
-Is gearing up for Girl Guide camp at the end of May
-Can't wait for the warm weather to come back

Dear Husband:
-Is waiting for warmer weather to plant our patch of lawn in the backyard
-Is hoping the lawn doesn't end up like a prairie dog farm what with the kids digging holes in the dirt
-Is glad his computer is up and running properly again
-Won't delete system items willy nilly any more
