Downtown Walk

Friday afternoon we had a visit from Poppa, and after dinner we decided to go downtown for the city's "Christmas Walk." It was a nice walk, but a little disappointing. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I thought it would be more... Christmassy. Maybe because there was no snow. And threatening to rain. There were tons of people milling around, and we waded back and forth through the throngs to see Santa, eat candy canes, and drink hot chocolate. There were horses pulling wagons, too, but we didn't want to wait in line for a ride.
