The latest news...

Anya:
Loves to hop on one foot
Will try most food once, with a little cajolling
Has recently discovered how much fun it is to pile all the couch cushions on the floor in the living room and make a "fort" (gigantic pillow pile)
Is learning to swim, sort of: she can put her ears, chin and nose in the water without too much spluttering
Loves peas and broccoli and peanut butter sandwiches
Loves smoothies (which she calls "foomies")
Calls spoons "foons" and smarties "farties"
Doesn't like using the toilet much at all
Is really interested in the clock and the calendar, and wants to know what time and day it is
Wants to know when it'll be Christmas again

Dhara:
Loves to stand up and let go of things
Cruises along the furniture a little
Hates napping too long, and sleeps lightly
Will eat anything I give her

Elora:
Has learned to blow spit bubbles (gross)
Can pull herself up and stand, hanging onto things
Is starting to cruise along furniture
Sleeps through anything
Is a picky eater, and prefers her bottle
Rubs her food in her eyes and hair if she doesn't like it

I:
Am going to Girl Guide camp at the end of January
Am trying to eat healthier, and be more active
Am sad that we're nearly finished watching all the Stargate SG1 DVDs at the library

DH:
Is going to finish Anya's window sill any day now
Is not taking a course this semester
Needs a haircut
Is cooking a lovely beef bourginion dinner for tomorrow which smells AWESOME

Hayden:
Loves using the toilet, even to poop, and has been highly motivated by stickers (and I recommend you try them too - a sticker page taped to the wall in the bathroom did wonders!)

Sage:
Loves to smear foods he likes AND doesn't like in his eyes and hair and his brother's eyes and hair, and anyone's eyes and hair he can reach.
Also instinctively knew that a Joe Louis was a tasty treat by sight alone. When he saw me eating one in the kitchen earlier today, he cried and pointed and obviously wanted some.

I:
Am thinking about eating healthier, but haven't implemented anything yet.
Got 49% in my French course that I stopped going to halfway through.
Have really become great at online poker but can't seem to get my in-person game in tune.

Jake:
Got his Wii back from the Nintendo Repair people and is very happy.
Loves his Wii 'crossbow' thingy you got him.
Received a bucket of tiny alcohol bottles from work for Christmas which I have been enjoying on his behalf (Baillies and Crown royal - YUM)

Anya's "foomies" are Thea's "moofies".
