Accomplishments for today

Some days being a mom makes me want to gnash my teeth, and some days I am just so totally amazed at my children.

Case in point:

We have three different profile accounts on this computer, one for me, DH, and Anya. Anya is really good at using the mouse now, and she loves the Sesame Street, NickJr, and the CBC site (it has Doodlebops.)

Today she asked me (while I was checking my email) if she could play a game. I said sure, so she jumped up on my lap, clicked the "Start" button, then "Logoff", "Switch Users", and logged herself back in to her account. Holy cow. I bet she's coding her own website by her next birthday.

Other achievements today:

Elora raised her hands in the air when I asked her to, while putting the tray on the highchair. (Eating our lunch, the train rolled merrily along.)

Dhara smashed her head on my toe and didn't cry. (I yelped a bit however.)

I took down the Christmas tree today. Note: It is still January! Ta daah!
