August Disguised as February

You know what we need around here? Some great summery photos, with a beach, and kayaking, and people hanging around a picnic table eating cookies. Luckily, I just found a batch of photos that were hiding on my DH's computer to fill that very bill.

This was the middle of August last year, when my dad and my sister's family all came out to visit.

We were lucky Poppa had decided to bring his kayak... he gave all the kids rides around the lake.

So there's a little bit of summer for a cold winter's day. I think we'll go tobogganing now.
