Post camping summary

we went camping last weekend and had great weather - no rain until we were in the car packed and on the way home so perfect timing - children are tired and parents are tired but a good time was had by all - Kyla came out with her canoe on Sat and we had a little trip around the lake - no one fell in, so by all accounts a success - the kids enjoyed swimming and teetertottering and swinging and catching minnows and we built a sandcastle and had smores and hotdogs on the fire and played with the neighbours kids and made new friends and learned what a winkle snail is - I also learned that no matter how hard my husband tries to talk me out of bringing the winter sleeping bags, don't give in...
